Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Friday Resort website only. It explains what the site does and does not do with information about the people who visit it.

1. No accounts, no sign-up

There is nothing to register for on this website. It has no user accounts, no login, and no profile of any kind. Browsing it requires you to give us nothing.

2. The enquiry form

The enquiry form on this site does not send anything to us by itself and does not transmit what you type to any server. When you press Send enquiry, your browser opens your own email application with a message already written out, addressed to our reservations mailbox. Nothing is sent until you press send in your own email app, and you can edit or discard the message first.

Once you do send it, that email arrives in our reservations mailbox and is handled like any other enquiry: read by reception, used to answer you, and kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.

3. What is stored on your device

This site places no tracking cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no behavioural tracking of any kind.

Two small items are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only: the fact that you confirmed you are 18 or over, and the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice. Neither is ever sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes both.

4. Handled by others

• Hosting. The company hosting this site may log routine technical details — such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request — in order to serve pages and protect against abuse.
• Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font file, Google receives that technical request, including your IP address.

5. Children

Friday Resort is an adults-only property and this website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly handle information belonging to a child.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to its use, and to complain to a supervisory authority — in Malta, the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).

Because this website itself collects nothing, any such request concerns only correspondence you have sent us by email. Write to the address below and we will deal with it.

7. Changes

If the way this site works ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated before that change goes live.
